Viben Sultry Wand Massager

Got this in the holiday sale since my magic Wand finally stopped running after about 5 years -

I like that this is waterproof,
and it has the 8 speeds, which is a lot more. The power is good and the silicone feels good.

Have a Viben Obsession which we've been really happy with, and wanted to get a backup, so went with the Sultry. Have to say on the whole, neither of us are terribly impressed.

First and foremost, it's not as strong as the Obsession. Keep that in mind if you like something with a bit of power. The top level power on the Sultry is okay, but nowhere near even the second of three levels on the Obsession. There are 8 power levels on the Sultry as opposed to 3 on the Obsession, and that might sound like a good thing, but since the range is small, the steps are so close as to be hard to notice a difference. It also requires a separate click for each step and if you don't count right, it drops from max power to minimum.

Next, the charging plug is one of the insert type so you have to remember which cord it goes with because every one I've seen so far is different. The Obsession has a much simpler two-pole magnetic charger, which can be a little finicky but once you know how to use it, is simple and easy.

The Obsession also has large, well spaced buttons that are easy to find by feel, but the Sultry has three tiny buttons all stacked close to each other that can only be found (without looking) by searching for a little irregularity to the surface. I imagine it's part of the waterproofing being better on this one, but it's hard to find the on/off and power levels buttons, even more so in the heat of the moment.

All in all, it's quite a miss for us, which is a bummer because the Obsession is SO good. If returns were a thing, it'd be going back.

I have been liking this wand but would like more steady than pattern options

This is my first wand and I don’t know if I will ever want another kind. At first, I was intimidated because I heard that wands can be very powerful and I was afraid it would be too intense for me. I’m a sensitive girl. I bought it out of curiosity along with some other toys and I thought if it’s too much for me as a sex toy it might just work as a pleasant body massager. I need not have worried! It is powerful, but adjustable to taste. It didn’t make my hand go numb yet the vibrations are rumbly enough to stimulate my clitoris on a deeper level. Also, I found that I can stimulate my g-spot without penetration. The good vibes of this wand were strong enough to do that from the outside. It was a new kind of pleasure. If I’m too lazy to adjust my clothes I can hold this wand against my body clothes and all and come anyway! If I’m tense I can use it as a body massager before engaging in more overtly erotic activity with it. It’s wonderful! I’ve had so many orgasms from this thing. The only reason I don’t give it 5 stars is because after nearly two years of enthusiastic use it broke. Probably my fault. Something rattles around in the head now and it doesn’t work. I have another one on the way. I can’t be without it now!

We didn??t use the want super often, maybe 10-20 times since purchase just over a year ago, but we loved this for the charge time, settings, and feel. Unfortunately, after this latest charge, something happened that seems to have disconnected the bulb end from whatever is inside the wand causing the bulb to not vibe anymore. We were hoping this would last much longer. So seems we will add this to the list of toys that just don??t last.
