They're highly adjustable, to fit different nipple sizes. Just twist the screw more, to open up the clamps and release pressure; or unscrew, for a tighter grip. Each clamp's tips are padded, for more comfort during longer play sessions.

These clamps are simply "okay", in my opinion. They work well enough for light solo play, and I love the concept of the heavy O-rings, but they really don't hold up to rougher play. The tips of the clamps simply aren't grippy enough, making it very hard to keep them on. I was hoping to attach the rings to a leash, or maybe have a parter tug at them during sex, but even light tugging pulls them free. They're probably best suited to a beginner who wants to just leave them in place and enjoy the weight of the O-rings without any sort of tugging. Even then, though, if you dont adjust them to be extremely tight they may just slide right off without touching them at all!
These were the first nipple clamps I have purchased. When my husband and I were going to use them they do not open wide enough to allow me to wear them. My nipples are larger than the nipple clamps ability to open. If you are someone with large nipples choose a different product.
