I was surprised by how large the device is. The base rings and connecting pieces were thick and flexible leading to the device feeling heavy and insecure, respectively. The measurements (3.5 inches) was also misleading because the thickness of connecting pieces and their flexibility added .5-1 inches to the length.
I am sure it works fine for some, but I would not recommend it.
While it is comfortable to wear, I wouldn't call it a "cage" perse, since it's really easy to get it off without unlocking because the silicone is more flexible than it looks. ManCage has other lines made with polycarbonate which I will try out.
